Understanding Your Payment Plan

When you purchase a SocialSelf course or membership, you may have different payment options depending on the product. Here's how each one works.

Split Payments (Most Courses)

Most of our courses are one-time purchases with lifetime access. If you chose to pay in installments (split payments), this is simply the total course price divided into smaller payments over a set number of months — it is not a recurring subscription.

For example, a $120 course on a 4-month plan means four payments of $30. Once all four payments are made, you're done — you won't be charged again, and you keep lifetime access to the course.

What to expect with split payments:

  • Payments are charged automatically to the same payment method on the same date each month.
  • You get full course access from day one — you don't have to wait until all payments are complete.
  • After all installments are paid, you have lifetime access with no further charges.
  • The total cost never changes — you pay exactly the course price, split into equal parts. No interest or extra fees.

Membership Subscriptions

Some of our programs are ongoing memberships with a recurring monthly fee. Unlike split payments, memberships are recurring subscriptions.

How memberships work:

  • You are charged a recurring fee each month for continued access.
  • You can cancel at any time — once you cancel, you won't be charged again.
  • After cancellation, you keep access until the end of your current billing period (the date your next payment would have been charged). After that date, access is removed.
  • If you'd like to rejoin after cancelling, you can sign up again at any time.

How to Check Your Payment Status

To see your payment history and any remaining installments:

  1. Log in at courses.socialself.com/my-account/
  2. Go to "My Account" → "Orders"
  3. You'll see your order history, payment status, and any upcoming payments

Can I Pay Off My Remaining Split Payments Early?

Yes! If you'd like to pay off your remaining installments in one go, contact our support team and we'll send you a payment link for the remaining balance.

How to Cancel

For split payment plans: If you'd like to cancel your remaining split payments, please contact support. Note that our money-back guarantee applies from the date of your first payment — see our Refunds & Money-Back Guarantee article for full details.

For memberships: You can cancel at any time by contacting support. Your access will continue until the end of your current billing period.
