How to Access Comments & Discussion Forums
Each SocialSelf course has comment sections where you can discuss lessons, ask questions, and connect with other students. We also have a general community forum for broader discussions. Here's how to get access and what to do if something isn't working.
Course Comment Sections
Most lessons in our courses have a comment section where you can post questions and replies. To use them, you need to activate your community access:
- Make sure you're logged in to your account at courses.socialself.com/my-account/
- Navigate to the Inner Circle access page (the link is available within your course dashboard)
- Log in with the same email you used to purchase your course
- Once verified, your community access will be activated and you can post comments and replies
General Community Forum
In addition to course-specific comments, we have a general community where you can connect with other members, share your progress, and discuss topics beyond individual lessons. You can find it at community.socialself.com.
Troubleshooting
? "I can't post comments — the section seems locked"
There are two possible reasons:
- You haven't activated community access yet. Follow the activation steps above. Comment sections only appear for users with active community access.
- Comments are turned off for that specific lesson. Some lessons have comments disabled by design. If you notice a particular lesson doesn't have a comment section while others do, that's intentional — most lessons will have comments open, but a few may not.
? "My comments or posts aren't appearing"
- Some comments may be held for moderation, especially your first post. Give it a little time and check back.
- Try refreshing the page. If the comment still doesn't appear, try logging out and back in.
- Clear your browser cache and try again.
? "I can't find the comment section on a lesson"
- The comment area is located below the video or content on each lesson page — scroll down past the lesson content.
- Make sure you're accessing the course through courses.socialself.com/my-courses/
- If a specific lesson doesn't have a comment section while others do, comments have been turned off for that lesson.
Still Having Trouble?
If you've followed the steps above and still can't access comments or the community, contact our support team with:
- Your account email address
- Which course and lesson you're trying to comment in
- A screenshot of what you see (if possible)
We'll get your access sorted quickly.
